According to the latest data, the poverty situation in France remains alarming and continues to worsen. The Federation of French Solidarity Subjects (FAS) reported that more than 10 million citizens in the country are in a vulnerable financial situation. This includes people who lack housing and food.

According to FAS, a person is considered poor if their income is less than 1,396 euros per month, which is only 2 euros more than the minimum wage after taxes. The president of the organization, Pascal Brice, emphasizes that 40% of the country’s population feels unstable and insecure in their financial affairs.
